PUR Edge Banding

PUR edge banding: PUR hot melt adhesive is under the condition of inhibiting chemical reaction, heating (130-150 °C (semi-open)) melted into a fluid, in order to be coated on the cutting surface of wood-based panels, and then with the help of moisture in the air and moisture attached to the surface of the adhesive body cross-linked chemical reaction with it, irreversible, chain expansion, the generation of polymer with high cohesion, so that the adhesion, heat resistance, low temperature resistance, etc. significantly improved, and the amount of glue applied is less than half of the amount of EVA edge banding glue (70-150g/ ㎡）。 Moreover, the ordinary EVA edge banding machine can become PUR edge banding after modification, because the PUR equipment is grafted next to the ordinary edge banding machine, and exists as an independent equipment to be used with the edge banding machine. The bonding strength of PUR adhesive (>140N) can be increased several times compared with traditional EVA hot melt adhesive, especially the peel strength is significantly improved. PUR edge banding adhesive has good high temperature resistance, solvent resistance and other properties. In the production of wood-based panel furniture, not only can improve the waterproof and moisture-proof in the processing process of wood-based panels, but also the high-temperature PUR edge sealing technology efficiently solves the glue seam after the sealing (the glue line is very fine 0.03-0.05mm), water resistance, weather resistance, heat resistance, solvent resistance are the best, yellowing resistance for 5-10 years, not easy to mold and other problems.
